Extremist Israeli Jewish settlers detain Palestinian journalists and activist in Ramallah

Extremist Jewish settlers detained three Palestinian journalists and an activist in Ramallah while Israeli forces kidnapped four citizens from Bethlehem and injured a child in Jenin.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A horde of extremist Jewish settlers detained three Palestinian journalists and one activist in Ramallah, while Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped four citizens from Bethlehem and injured a child in Jenin on Saturday.

According to local sources, armed settlers exited a vehicle and detained activist Rabie Abu Naim along with journalists Mohamed Turkman, Karim Khmaisah, and Ahmed al-Khatib while they were documenting settler violations and the demolition of tents in al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah.

The activist and journalists reported that the settlers blocked them from leaving the area in their car, attempted to seize their car keys and cellphone, and issued death threats if they returned.

In a separate incident, a 13-year-old Palestinian child suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after Israeli forces stormed al-Zababida town in southern Jenin. The child was rushed to the hospital for medical assistance.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers kidnapped a young man in Tulkarem City after intercepting his car in Dinnaba suburb. Local sources stated that the soldiers confiscated his cellphone and posted pictures of Israeli leaders on his Facebook account. The IOF also kidnapped three other young men from different streets in Tulkarem City.

Additionally, armed settlers attacked several Palestinian homes in Tel al-Rumeida neighborhood in al-Khalil, assaulted farmers in Farkha village near Salfit, and stormed a residential area in al-Mughayyir village in Ramallah. No injuries were reported in these settler attacks.
